I had the privilege and pleasure of directing the premiere of Gareth Treseder’s evocative cantata In Flanders Fields – settings of WW1 poetry by John McCrae, Wilfrid Owen and others. Eltham Choral Society were on terrific form, as was baritone soloist Laurence Williams.
