What a wonderful piece the Mozart Requiem is, which I have just enjoyed directing at St Mary’s, Wimbledon, the morning after which I ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Prostate Cancer UK, in a time of 1 hour 28 minutes. Now looking forward to directing West Barnes Singers in for Vivaldi and Rutter Glorias in November, and conducting Thames Philharmonic Choir’s Christmas Concert, singing the relatively unknown but beautiful Christmas Cantata by Geoffrey Bush, and Bob Chilcott’s On Christmas Night, with my new Wimbledon Youth Choir (www.wimbledonyoutchoir.com) providing the Choir of Upper Voices.
